        Baked Parisian Pike

        Ingredients


8 northern pike fillets

        1 can of Chicken broth

        3 tbsp. flour

        2 tbsp. butter

        1 can of sliced peaches

        salt

        1 tsp. pepper

        2 tsp. thyme

        1 tbsp. chopped parsley stems*

        1/2 tsp. garlic powder

         

              Preheat the oven to 350F. 

Drain can of peaches Simmer pike in salted and peppered water until tender.

 

             Mix flour and butter in a saucepan. Add chicken broth stirring continuously to make a sauce. Add seasonings to sauce and salt to taste.

 

     Place pike in a greased dish, cover with sauce and peaches then bake for 15 minutes.

   *The flavor of parsley is in the stems
